Also known as the nerve plant and originating in South America, Fittonia is a low growing creeper that has strikingly beautiful foliage. This house plant is quite needy in that it does require a lot more attention, particularly in hotter months where watering is required more frequently.
Light – Although she thrives in bright indirect light, Fittonia can tolerate a variety of lighting conditions
Water – Keep the soil moist at all times, without over-watering your plant. Your fittonia will let you know when its in need of a good watering, as it leaves will drop
Humidity– Fittonia will thrive with moderate levels of humidity, a humidifier or regular misting may help with added moisture
Repot – Re-pot once every two years during spring.
